Award Leaders Training (YES) Workshop

At New Digamber Public School, Indore

On 19th and 20th November, 2018, the National Award Authority organised an Award Leaders Training (YES) Workshop at New Digamber Public School, Indore. The objective of the workshop was to interact with the Award Leaders of different schools and iterate the importance of their contribution in the journey of the Award participants. Bivujit Mukhtoy (Programme Manager- IAYP) lead this two days workshop.

The workshop witnessed a total of 14 participants from New Digamber Public School, Indore; The Daly College, Indore; The Emerald Heights International School, Indore, and Global City International School, Bangalore.

The workshop commenced with an ice breaking session followed by an introduction about the Award Programme. Bivujit Mukhoty threw light on the philosophy of the Award, its journey and its framework. He expl

ained its various facets that include Voluntary Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. He also elaborated upon risk management, stressed the benefits of the Programme and touched upon the Residential Project for the Gold Level of the Programme. There was a review session and discussion about the levels of the Award Programme. The session concluded with a film highlighting the Award’s achievements and its impact.

Award Leader Training (YES) Workshop

@ Dyal Singh Public School, Karnal

An Award Leader Training Workshop was organised on 4th - 5th May, 2018 at Dyal Singh Public School, Karnal. The workshop was attended by 21 participants from Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal; Dyal Singh Public School, Jagadhri; Dyal Singh Public School, Sec 13-17, Huda, Panipat; Dyal Singh Public School, Sector 7, Karnal and Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior.

The workshop started with a session on introduction and expectations. There were sessions on the Framework and Philosophy of the Award, followed by the four pillars of the Award, Residential Project, Risk Management and ORB Next Generation. The workshop was led by Kapil Bhalla (National Director), Bivujit Mukhoty (Programme Manager), Priyank Kumar Gupta (Head IT and ORB) and Ranjana Rai (Member, National Training Panel). Bivujit Mukhoty also delivered an Orientation session to the students of Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal, which was attended by 150 students.

An Award Leader Training Workshop was organised on 25th - 26th April, 2018 at Chennai Public School, Chennai. The workshop was attended by 32 participants from Chennai Public School, Annanagar, Chennai; Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, Chennai; CPS Global School, Annanagar, Chennai; CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, Chennai and Vidyamandir @ Estancia, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu.

The workshop started with a session on introduction and expectations. There were sessions on Framework and Philosophy of the Award, followed by the four pillars of the Award, Residential Project, Risk Management and ORB Next Generation. The workshop was led by Kapil Bhalla (National Director), Bivujit Mukhoty (Programme Manager), Priyank Kumar Gupta (Head IT and ORB) and Sasi Kiran (Programme Officer, South). Pavithra, K a participant from Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, Chennai, who completed her Gold Award in 1989, shared memories of her Award Journey and the learning that transformed her life.

An Award Leader Training Workshop was organised on 20th - 21st April, 2018 at Jodhamal Public School, Jammu. The workshop was attended by 20 participants from Apeejay School, Jallandhar; K.C. International School, Jammu; Jodhamal Public School, Jammu; Govt. High School, Deeli, Jammu; Govt. Middle School, Khokhyal, Kathua; Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu and Banyan International School, Jammu.

The workshop started with a session on introduction and expectations. There were sessions on Framework and Philosophy of the Award, followed by the four pillars of the Award, Residential Project, Risk Management, Benefits of Award, Brand Pack and ORB. National Award Authority organised two Award Leader Training (YES) Workshops on September 8 - 9 and September 12 - 13, 2017.

The first workshop was organised at Vishwa Vidyapeeth Bengaluru on September 8 - 9, 2017. The workshop was attended by 18 participants from Mallya Aditi International School, Bengaluru; Oakridge Int. School, Bengaluru; Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Bengaluru; Karaumbiah's Academy for Learning & Sports, Gonikoppal, Coorg; BGS World School, Bengaluru and Sarala Birla Academy, Bengaluru. The workshop was led by Bivujit Mukhoty (Programme Manager), K S Birader (Member, National Training Panel); Teena Machaiah (Member, National Training Panel); and Priya Chengappa (Coorg Public School, Mysore).

The second workshop was organised on September 12 - 13, 2017 at Peevees Public School, Nilambur, Kerala. This workshop was attended by 8 participants from Peevees Public School Nilambur Kerala and Isha Home School, Velliangiri Foothills, Coimbatore. The workshop was led by Kapil Bhalla (National Director) and Bivujit Mukhoty (Programme Manager).
