Future Leaders : A Talent Development Initiative

HSBC believes in the Award Concept of individual challenge : to give the youth a balanced, non-competitive programme of voluntary activities to encourage the objectives of personal discovery and growth, self-reliance, perseverance, responsibility to themselves and of service to the community. HSBC India, as a licensed operating partner of IAYP India, is steaming ahead to “Equip for Life” their young employees by introducing the Award Programme in the Technology and Services Centre nation-wide.

The Award Leaders, identified Activity Coaches and Volunteers at the various HSBC Sites will provide the required guidance that will help the participants complete the Award successfully. This Pilot Project is an excellent opportunity to empower young professionals by allowing them to embark on a journey of self-discovery, add international recognition to their Resumes and prevent burn out from a high-paced work environment.

Governance of the Award in HSBC

An Award Leader or a Site SPOC at HSBC will monitor the entire Award Programme for all HSBC participants. Each participant will choose an activity from an already compiled list provided to them for the different sections of Service, Skill and Physical Recreation Service and share it with the Award Leader. The participant then becomes responsible to provide a detailed calendar of activities and goals to a related Activity coach for each chosen activity.

The sections of Adventurous Journey and Residential Project aimed at encouraging teamwork, developing interpersonal skills and broadening a participant’s experience in an unfamiliar environment work a little differently. Participants in teams choose the purpose of an Adventurous journey and/or the nature of a Residential Project with the Award Leader. The teams then finalise the plan, embark on a journey and complete the activity under the supervision of an assigned Assessor. Every participant, after the completion of either the journey or the project is required to write a report and share individual reflections in the Diary.

Participants’ Activity coaches at the site become mentors, assessors and guides of each participant’s progress to complete the Award. They will also review participants’ Diaries, maintained by every participant, in monthly meetings. Activity coaches will sign off the Record Book after the completion of Award requirements of each component.

HSBC with this “Equip for Life” initiative stresses the aim to Cherish Service and Relationship within its socially responsible corporate structure. The employees are indeed the backbone of a company and challenging the young professionals to complete the Award is an impeccable strategy to progress

THE YP FOUNDATION

As the year 2009 ends, we have a great year to look back... Ram Nath Foundation, RLSS, INME, HSBC, MAX India Foundation, JCB... and now YP, all have been wonderful partnerships. The volunteers and participants are definately going to enjoy working with our partners and do full justice to the respective projects. In addition the Sri Aurobindo Society have been more than kind to support us too.
What will we do with YP?
1. We will now let the YP Volunteers Register as participants from our Open Award Centre, the individuals register ONLINE. Thus the Volunteer work will be acknowledged with a certification.
YP will be able to give the internationally valid certificates to their Volunteers, when the fulfilled the Award needs.

2. We will work together on projects, as the Award participants can do Service/ Skills/ Residential with YP. Thus YP will get more volunteers, as there is the need to work for 18 months to get the gold, the participants will be regular on YP projects.

GAHN Summit Declaration

AIM

This Summit proposes the concept and implementation plan for the formation of the Gold Award Holders’ Network (GAHN), in India.

BACKGROUND
Under the auspices of the NAA, the Award has experienced significant growth. More young people are now participating than ever before and an increasing number of Award Holders now have the desire to form Award Holders’ Associations (AHAs). A Gold Award Holders’ Network (GAHN) can help to link, network and synergise active Award holders all around the world so as to provide them with a platform to serve the global community and create long-lasting links amongst young people. It will also encourage existing AHAs to work more closely with their respective Zones.

AIMS OF THE GOLD AWARD HOLDERS NETWORK
The Gold Award Holders’ Network is being established with the following aims:

a. Supporting the NAA. The GAHN will be able to support the development of successful AHAs, by having good working relationships with their own Zones. The support and recognition of the GAHN by IAYP India is crucial. In return, the recognised AHAs could support their Zones in a number of ways, as successfully demonstrated by some existing Gold Holders at the NAA office.

b. Sharing of best practices with NAA and AHAs. The GAHN presents opportunities to share best practices amongst the NAA and the AHAs. While noting the influences of culture on the various modus operandi, lessons learned from the different approaches can be beneficial. This open sharing will enhance the knowledge management payoff and synergistic gains of the network.

c. Development of links between AHAs. The immediate payoff of the GAHN would be its linkages to facilitate and build bilateral and multilateral links among AHA members. An example could be the bilateral cooperation between the respective AHAs and NAA around the country. Many collaborative projects can transpire from these linkages at the bilateral, regional and international levels and funding may be raised via NAA or other appropriate platforms.

d. Platform for representation at international events. The GAHN may give its representatives opportunities to fly the NAA flag at various regional and national platforms, such as events initiated by the IAA, the Commonwealth and the United Nations.

e. Feedback Forum to NAA. With the GAHN, NAA will be able to reach out formally to recognised AHAs and be informed of any feedback or proposals from the youth. This will form an additional means of communication for Award-related matters.

THE GOLD AWARD HOLDERS NETWORK (GAHN)

The Gold Award Holders' Society of India will assist the NAA and the IAYP India Team in the growth and development of the Award in India. Will comprise of GOLD HOLDERS only, and there will be one national body.

The seven members needed to form a Society and complete the paper work will be Ishita Khanna, Tripti Bansal, Pranay Kapoor, Saachi Sarin, Sandeep Dutt, Rohit Saxena and Juzher Shaikhally.

The founding team will sign the Memorandum and Articles for the Society and the registered office of the Society will be the same as the working address of IAYP India (596 Asian Games Village, New Delhi 110049).

A CALL OF ACTION

We the Gold Award Holders in India affirm to support the NAA and take ahead the programme which highlights practical experience and exceptional efforts as drivers along life’s journey and where through our programme we give young people the opportunities and confidence to keep learning, do more, and go further. This encapsulates the original vision of our founder, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
We affirm to support the work of the AWARD PROGRAMME FOUNDATION, Administering Trust of The International Award for Young People, India (The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award) a Public Charitable Trust Reg. No. TR/27951, registered in India.

Nominee for President GAHN India - Ishita Khanna

This is our GAHN President.
Ishita is a young dynamic development professional and an Ashoka Fellow. Her experience of working at the grassroots and passion for the environment and mountains has been the driving force for both Muse and Ecosphere. She was also recently chosen as MTV Youth Icon for 2008. She is striving to improve life in remote Himalayan villages by building a green economy. In response to the region’s growing environmental degradation and threatened cultural preservation, Ishita has developed a collection of new income-generating and ecotourism opportunities designed to improve environmental management and promote the pursuit of more sustainable livelihoods. Her quest for striking a balance between human capitalistic progress & the sustainability of all life on earth has merged the region’s most marginalized communities with the market-based economy and created an incentive to conserve the region’s dwindling resources. She is, thus, paving the way for the region’s most isolated communities to retake control of their resources and retain primary ownership over them, proving that better environmental management can be a profound source of economic growth. For Ishita, the peace and quiet of Spiti is the life she likes and chooses to live.

The Sydney Declaration – Owning Our Future

PREAMBLE

We, the FORUM, on this 21st Anniversary of the Association, having met from 28th to 31st October 2009 in Sydney, Australia, reaffirm our vision to be recognised as the programme of choice for young people, reflected in quality, growth and external perception.

At a time in which the world is beset by a range of challenges around faith and family, the FORUM reasserted the principles and values of self-reliance, interdependence, integrity, accessibility, transparency, inclusivity and empowerment to ensure continued quality, relevance and sustainability of the Award programme within a holistic development framework.

The FORUM reiterated the necessity for the Award programme to recognise the importance of supporting National Award Authorities (NAAs) through capacity building projects and facilitating links to national agendas which will inform and extend the Award programme.

FORUM welcomed the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of the youth delegates. NAAs, Trustees, World Fellows, supporters, Ministers & Directors of Education, Youth and Sport and agreed that they played a valuable role in highlighting, exchanging and documenting national, regional and international experiences.

The FORUM acknowledged the importance of youth perspectives and their meaningful participation in and contribution to both the governance and programmatic areas of the Award programme and agreed that the national and regional youth representatives have strategic roles to play in this regard.

Presentations and discussions took into account the challenges of globalisation, changing youth culture and the need for creativity and innovation in addressing youth development through the Award programme. The need to ensure professionalism, clear and consistent values and good governance at all levels of the Association was noted.

A CALL OF ACTION

We resolve to step up the process of bringing clarity and consistency to our common purpose; fostering agents of social changes guided by the principles of self-reliance, interdependence and altruistic action, where boundaries of age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ability, class and creed, fall away.

We affirm the Award as a programme which highlights practical experience and exceptional efforts as drivers along life’s journey and where through our programme we give young people the opportunities and confidence to keep learning, do more, and go further. This encapsulates the original vision of our founder, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

We seek further to arrive at a common understanding and communication of a programme globally recognised, widely endorsed and quality assured through the “One Award Alliance”, to which we all belong.

Open Award Centre is now on!

The first OPEN AWARD CENTRE (OAC) has been inaugurated successfully at the Sri Aurobindo Society , on the 5th of September 2009.

The Agend of the meeting / launch ceremony:
1. Orientation for the new AWARD participants.
2. Enrolment at the OAC.
3. Plan for the Award Holders Association (AHA).

The meeting itself saw hoardes of participants and volunteers alike.

The students and staff members of the society also attended the ceremony with abundant enthusiasm. It started with a formal introduction and a speech by the head of the society, Mrs. Daljeet Wadwa.

Mr. Sandeep Dutt then officially introduced the programme to the audience. Starting with light discussion about the achievements and goals of IAYP so far, he moved on to explain the role of the programme.
“It is in fact 90% trust and 10% effort. It can find even that tiny miniscule of positive energy in you and enlarge it to that degree that it makes you do grand things. And you will be left with glorious
memories that will last you a lifetime. Why did the award come into being?? It is simply there because we want to motivate you, want you to enjoy the present moment and get rewarded for it, thereby making your life somehow more meaningful. It is presented to you not because you secured the highest position or the grand trophy but because you are showing an initiative. You come first , you receive the award .. you come last , you STILL receive the award . Because you get rewarded for doing whatever it is that you are doing , in a positive way.” Thus by captivating the crowd with his speech which was delivered in a jocund manner , he proceeded to inform the audience about the required fields of the award.

Next, Saachi Sarin, enlightened the audience about her experience receiving the gold. This
programme is considered the highest accolade for an achiever.

Moreover the institute members also showcased many dance pieces, plays and instrumental performance to entertain the crowd.

Following this the interested candidates were registered for the programme and briefed about the coming events. All in all it was a fruitful day.

We are most grateful to Ms. Daljeet Wadwa, Directos of SAIMA, for not only being our host but for assuring us of full support towards the OAC project.

To all Member schools / Award units and Operators

Dear Award Friends and Supporters;

This is an open letter to all our Award Units and Volunteers, first to thank them for the continued support for the Award Programme, and to apprise all that IAYP India is now all set to grow from strength to strength.

India is youth and youth is India!
A young nation, with the largest youth force in the world, poised to make this century ours. Brand India today is the flavour of the season, the meteoric rise of the services sector and the need for knowledge capital has made India shine on the world map, and this is the opportunity for the Award Programme to build on.

Not many are perhaps aware that the Award Programme in India commenced in the year 1962, and am certain near 2,00,000 lac or maybe more, have either participated or volunteered to build the programme over the years. Some say the Award Programme is perhaps the best kept secret!

A conscious effort is being made by the full Award team to roll out the Development Plan 2010 – 2013, and build up to 5,00,000 participants in the near future. A big capacity building and training initiative is in the offing; the focus now is not only on the 14 -18 year olds at schools, but also on the 18 – 25 in the colleges, corporate and social organizations. We need to work with a mission to bridge the social divide and help young Indians live their dreams.

The national office is now functional and the first Open Award Centre, for the college going and other youth was inaugurated at Sri Aurobindo Society in New Delhi, on the 5th of September 2009, to commemorate Teachers Day and keep the spirit of the ‘guru’ vibrant.

For more and other exciting opportunities, please follow us on http://www.iayp.in/ .
We are also on FACEBOOK, www.facebook.com/iayp.in
To keep you updated with news and plans there is a blog http://www.brewingknowledge.com/

We are there to win hearts and partner for the spirit that keeps everyone youthful. Please share the information with volunteers and the youth. You are most welcome to drop by at our office or email Sandeep.dutt@iayp.in .

Let us join hands and challenge young people everywhere!

Yours truly,

Sandeep Dutt

The Award and the Universities

The Award: Equipping young people with skills for life

The Award is an exciting self-development programme for 14-25 year olds worldwide, which equips them with life skills to make a difference to themselves and their communities.

Introduced first in the UK, the Award is now available in over 125 countries. More than 750,000 young people are now taking part in the programme, including college and university students from 630 institutions.

Offering individuals the chance to develop their skills, the Award is popular with students looking to improve their chances in the job market, and with good reason. In a recent survey employers ranked the Award as the most valuable extra-curricular activity when it came to skills for employment.

The Award: Benefits to students
Balancing your studies and, for many, a part-time job or voluntary work, can be hard enough without joining a club or society. But taking part in the Award programme allows you to build in your existing activities, and get recognised for them.

Split into four sections, Skills, Physical Recreation, Service and Adventurous Journey, the Award is tailored to each individual. For each section, you get to choose what you want to do, which means you can tie in your activities with your study.

You may be involved in voluntary work, for example. This work comes under the Service section of the Award. Or perhaps you’ve taken up a sport. Any physical activities that you are already involved in can be put towards your Award.

The Award is a life changing experience that enables you to:

· Learn new skills to add to your CV; team work, communication and problem solving, skills which employers find valuable

· Complete the Award alongside your studies and other commitments – fit it in around your time

· Make a difference to your community through volunteering and impress employers with your commitment to helping others

· Build your confidence - try something new

· Make lasting friendships

“The Award ensures you ALWAYS have something to talk about in interviews,” says Alex Murphy, University of Melbourne Gold Award Participant and Board Member of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Victoria.

“It guarantees life experience, teamwork and commitment - all things employers look for.”

“The Award recognises young people for the list of extra-curricular and voluntary activities to which they give their time. It’s often tough to balance school or college with activities, but Gaisce (the Award in Ireland) makes it easier. I think it’s because at the end of it you have a something that rewards you for all the work you put in!” says University of Limerick student Aoife Finnerty.

The Award and Institutions

The Award is also beneficial to institutions themselves, not least as a way to ensure students have a positive learning experience. The Award can:

· Add value to learning by integrating a programme that offers practical experience and builds confidence

· Help an institution build relationships with local businesses and the wider community

· Make you an institution of choice for students looking for more than just a qualification

· Build a team of student volunteers who go on to become Award leaders themselves who promote the Award and the institution

In Irish universities, the Award (Gaisce) is making a big difference to students and to institutions themselves.

“Gaisce – The President’s Award - is the most prestigious Award for young people in Ireland and is well respected internationally, says Student Development Co-ordinator Aidan Healy.

“We looked at how we could encourage learning outside the classroom and how we could engage with the community around us,” he explains.

“I had done the Award myself and thought it would be a great way to get students interested in activities outside the classroom. The fact that the Award is already set up nationwide was also a benefit to us, as with limited resources starting from scratch could have taken us a long time. It made sense for us to link up with a programme that is already well established and geared up to supporting those who wish to run it. Anyone at the university can oversee the process, from academics to support staff."

Students completing the Award at the University are also attracting publicity.

“The Award is generating positive publicity for the University and its students. There are times when the media can only focus on negative stories about student behaviour. Having positive coverage about students who are involved in good causes helps to change people’s attitudes and, therefore, build better relations in the community.”

In India, the Award is being used to engage students more with society, and to help build their skills for life. An Open Award Centre has been set up specifically for university students to focus on skills development and vocational training. The Centre offers students a programme for mass media, communication, visual arts and other skills. This Centre will bring together 10,000 students from independent colleges in New Delhi to complete the Award, individuals who would have previously been disengaged with society.

The International Award: A positive learning experience

At Egerton University, located in Njoro 200 km from Nairobi, the Award is helping young people make a difference in their communities. Award participants are teaching in primary and secondary schools, providing information on HIV/AIDS and taking part in outreach work to support parents. They are also fundraising to help send three children from primary schools they’ve visited on to secondary education.

“Participating in the Award Programme has been a powerful experience. Since joining the Programme, campus life has been fun and organized. It has instilled discipline and motivation to studies and other activities. There is the joy of participating in an activity and achieving what you set,” explains John Paul Kibet, Award holder and Unit Leader at Egerton University.

“Though some things are not fun, the spirit of perseverance developed after attending expeditions and physical recreation comes in handy. More still, becoming an Award Leader and seeing participants through the programme feels comforting. It gives one the opportunity to pass on the knowledge to someone else. I cannot tell how I would be if I did not join the Award, but I bet it would not have been as good as now”.

Good citizens

In Australia, institutions can see the value the Award brings to their students, their institution and to their community.

“The activities that Deakin students undertake to obtain their Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award, will enhance, enrich and supplement the graduate attributes that students gain during their course of study,” explain Andrew Giles, Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, Deakin University and David Essex, Director of Student Life, Deakin University.

“Deakin University is keen to ensure that all Deakin students maximise their opportunities to participate in programs of activities that will enrich their educational experience and enhance their graduate attributes – the Gold Award is such a programme.”

RE-GREENING INDIA – FOR LIFE!

A NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO RE-GREEN INDIA OVER A 10-YEAR PERIOD
AN APPEAL TO CORPORATE INDIA FOR SUPPORT FOR THIS VITAL CAMPAIGN.

Esteemed Ladies & Gentlemen, the Corporate Titans and businessmen & women of our unique, ancient Indian nation. Please lend your country your eyes, your ear, your love, your support and – most importantly - your incomparable determination to achieve in these strained times of competitiveness and ecological chaos. This appeal has little to do with boardroom discussions, the infrastructure of your companies or any aspect of profit. But please do not stop reading this missive!

If we do not have respect for our own selves, each other or the nation of our birth and life, then how can we expect the rest of the world to have any respect for us? Therefore to ensure the land we live in is a safe & healthy haven for each and every citizen, the people of India are about to be encouraged to go to war against desertification of our country, against the death of our holy, life-giving rivers, mountains and seas, and against deforestation of the paltry 11% of forest India has managed to retain against indiscriminate felling.

Rich or poor, we all need clean air to breathe, pure water to drink and uncontaminated food to eat. And putting it very bluntly, the ecology of the nation we all know and love as Bharat Ma, Hindusthan and India is dying, and we need your help, as the inspiring citizens of this nation, to work together with us all to reverse that grim reality - for the good of all concerned.

Our action plan is as follows: -

 That for the next 12 months we are going to ignite a fire in the citizens of India to reverse the disgraceful damage done to the environment we all live in by Re-Greening India – For Life, using the electronic and physical media to spread the message that action is required by each and every individual.
 That the Collectors of every district, in each of India’s individual states designate one large plot in each Panchayat Block for reforestation. This ensures people can easily reach the sites, with or without transport.
 That in larger towns, cities & Metros the Municipal Corporation designates one area in each voting division on large degraded land plots, again, so that all citizens can reach the areas easily.

 That the Ministry of Forests & Environment requests every DFO in each district to ensure the growth of ample indigenous saplings of value to each region in India, in each and every nursery across the country. And as August 2009 approaches the forest dept. will supply the saplings to their fellow countrymen, women and children for planting at the designated sites.

 That on 26th January and 15th August 2009 the commencement of this campaign - “Re-Greening India – For Life!” begins after the Flag hoisting ceremonies are completed celebrating on our Republic and Independence Day. Every year for a 10-year period the people of India will repeat this process until our green cover is what it should be in this most ancient, most cultured and most unique and diverse land.

 That we ask the corporations and business houses of India to contribute to the protection of these locations being reforested by providing the fencing, irrigation source and guards per plot to ensure these efforts to maintain good quality oxygen for our citizens; to prevent soil erosion and landslides and to ensure water and not soil flows into our rivers and seas during the monsoon seasons.

In comparison to the era of my childhood in this land - when our world was greener, and we as a nation were infinitely more sensitive to the natural world and all the voiceless creature therein - we are at a shocking juncture in regard to the environmental devastation in India, with most of the country’s citizens too busy trying to succeed, or even survive, to pay this aspect of life any real attention.
The current status of India as a place to live a healthy life is becoming a major concern, but as awful as it may be we have absolutely no right whatsoever to bequeath this total mess to the children of today and future generations. This situation can only be reversed with the whole-hearted efforts of every citizen and friend of the country.

So please join this campaign to reverse the destruction of our beautiful India
HOW DOES YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THIS 10-YEAR CAMPAIGN’S ACTIONS BENEFIT YOUR CORPORATION OR BUSINESS HOUSE?
 Your corporate business name will be displayed on the Internet, TV networks, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, airports, and cinema hall, bus depots and hoardings, in all regional languages, for the full 10-year period. (Should you wish to change the copy for such promotional material during the course of the campaign any costs would be borne by the said company.)

 Posts and signs stating the name of the corporations & Business houses that contributed to the protection of that particular reforestation plot will encircle each reforestation plot. We would need to be supplied with your particular corporation’s or business house’s signboards.

 Your corporation or business house will be seen being in touch with the fundamental needs of all those living in the Indian nation, for we all have to breathe air, drink water and eat food to live.

In anticipation of your positive response and participation in this campaign we the people of India thank you most sincerely, and look forward to working together for a cause important to you, all of us who currently reside in India, and the future generations who will thank and bless you for your involvement to save our fragile ecology in India.

The Award this Week

TATW top stories:
  • The Trustees meeting
  • Award Volunteers Meeting 26th July 2009
  • The Open Award Centre
  • The NTW Coimbatore - Train the Trainer
  • "Role of Volunteers" - New Delhi workshop

1. Trustees support the Development Plan

The most important event of the week was the Trustees meeting at Mumbai, held on the 22nd of July 2009. There was a broad consensus on the draft Development Plan. For this we need to thank all the members of the Award Programme Foundation Trust.

• Aim

Make IAYP, India a premier youth programme for inclusive social growth.

• How we will do this?

1. Set up Open Award Centres – to facilitate build up of Volunteers and encourage the participation of youth in the 18 - 25 age groups.

2. Programme inclusion by enrolling more students from vernacular / government schools, from the current near 375 largely private sector schools.

3. Raise the annual enrolments for the program from 15000 to 500,000 in Year 3 of operation

4. Set in place a mechanism for fund raising; have Friends of the Award.

5. Partner with other NGOs, Volunteer groups and even look at the PPP Model for build up. Use the CSR approach and the Community outreach.

6. Set up a national centre that can undertake training for volunteers and award leaders from India and the APAC (ASIA PACIFIC) region.

• The role out

1. Plan that raises enrolments in stages.

2. Set-up volunteer committees that comprise eminent personalities in the various streams.

3. Have in place one national centre.

• 1. Raise enrolment in stages

Year 1:

70,000 (set forth the seed in model government and vernacular schools; spend time in getting model right for mass implementation; work out sponsorships/ third party funding routes)

Year 2:

200,000 (massive rollout, focus on timely and accurate implementation on a mass scale)

Year 3:

500,000 (massive rollout)

This has to be broad based in terms of geography, mix of students, gender. Should not be heavily biased towards anyone area. Further the roll out will be at a measured pace and will be governed by the availability of resources. The APF welcomed the idea of NLO - National License Operators and encouraged the NAA to build the programme on a franchise model with partner bodies.

• 2. The select volunteer committees

A. Industry
B. Brand and Communication
C. Educationists

• A. Industry

Representatives from one or two industry bodies such as CII, TiE etc., banking industry (SBI)

The Industry body will communicate with their member/affiliate network in procuring assignments for the volunteers across different industries/service firms as well as tap on to the CSR initiatives of different business entities across India.

Need to create programs that dovetail into organisations. For example -- SBI is big on rural banking and reaches out to many communities in far off areas. Plan specifically for SBI so that they can absorb students in bulk.

• B. Brand and Communication

Youthful Brand ambassadors that are publicly known who actually completed the course, Branding and Communication specialists including those in non English streams, one or two large media houses that can provide coverage for free across regional media.

The Brand and Communication team will be responsible for creating brand awareness of IAYP, keeping a strong communication with existing enrolments to further awareness within the student community, work on media coverage across modes of media, create content namely brochures/pamphlets to reach out to government/vernacular schools in the latter language.

• C. Educationists

Eminent hardworking educationists; who have the clout / connect with leading government / private education systems. The Educationists will be people who are well connected to schools across different geographies and can open doors for you. This has to dovetail into the numbers/geographies that you are tapping in the strategy highlighted above.

• 3. The National Centre
The centre has to be one fixed place that is needed 365 days a year, but at start could NOT be a fixed place; can be used as and when the need arises for a program.
